The Recalibrate Wellbeing® Programme changed the life of Dr Maya Basu

Maya is a highly successful career-driven gynaecologist who works long hours in the NHS. She was referred to us through another client but felt she was simply too busy to start right away.

Unfortunately, by the time winter rolled around nothing had changed and Maya felt her health was spiralling out of control. So, she finally decided it was now or never and we are so glad she chose NOW! Three months later and 10 sessions into our Recalibrate Wellbeing® Programme, Maya’s progress has been incredible:

Maya says. “At the beginning of the 12-week programme, I was asked what I wanted to achieve. It was hard to define – I think I mumbled something about just being healthier but was not really able to articulate much beyond that even using medical jargon! I had been feeling for a long time that I just didn’t feel particularly good in terms of fitness, strength and general resilience and I had heard brilliant things about this 12- week wellbeing programme from my friend who had come out of the other side.

10 weeks on, and I feel like a different person!  I am actually enjoying exercise now – which is something I never thought I would say. I feel stronger than I ever have, and I am also noticing that I am losing weight and changing my body shape. I am ashamed to say that doctors don’t get as much training on nutrition so with the help of this programme, I’ve changed what I eat on a daily basis, and am enjoying it! More importantly for me, I feel like I’ve got that spring in my step back and am so much more resilient than I was before. This has been basically life-changing for me and I’m so grateful that the programme has given me the confidence to push myself beyond my comfort zone.
