Bespoke Employee Workshops

Individual employee assessments create a personal environment in which staff can express their concerns and learn how to improve on certain areas of their health and wellbeing.   Exercises, health plans, information sheets, signposting and referrals are all ways that we will support an employee after their assessments.

Our workshops can be tailored to suit the requirements of your employees.  Two popular workshops that are carried out on a one-to-one basis are our  Employee Nutrition Sessions and our Employee Postural Assessments – for information on these workshops, please see Product Description below.

Full Description

A twenty minute appointment with our Registered Nutritionist will help employees and individuals understand their current dietary requirements. Areas of concern are discussed and employees are given ways in which they could make positive healthy choices. Supporting information is provided for each employee or individual with meal planners based on the information they discussed.

The duration of the individual postural assessment will be up to 30 minutes.  Two movement assessments are carried out:

Overhead Squat Assessment
Single Leg Squat Assessment

Both assessments will help identify probable over active (short & tight) muscles and probable under active (lengthened & weak) muscles.  From these assessments, we can identify which muscles require better flexibility (stretching) and which require better strengthening (activation).

Each assessment will provide the employee with a basic individual corrective strategy to apply immediately. This strategy, if applied regularly in conjunction with healthy living and continued physical activity, will reduce the risk of injury, help improve personal fitness, reduce any knee, back, shoulder, neck pain and improve posture.  Also, the client will of course have the opportunity to discuss solutions to any obstacles to their continued personal health, fitness and wellbeing.

Employees will take away an information sheet containing the outcomes of the assessment, plan for individual mobility exercises, corrective stretches and strengthening exercises (solutions) and a deeper understanding of the importance of mobility and movement.

Outcome of the postural assessment is that is reduces risk of strain, injury and consequently employee absenteeism.  Good posture will also increase performance

A quiet office or meeting room is ideal for individual assessments and workshops.

Individual employee assessments enable staff to address issues on a more personal and confidential basis.    Creates an environment of trust giving the employee results upon which they can immediately act on.  Boosting morale and productivity.
