What is Reflexology?
It is an energy based therapy which is non-intrusive and is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body. By applying gentle pressure to specific points on the hands or feet, reflexology aims to help you relax and promotes health and wellbeing.
Research shows that a single reflexology session can create relaxation, reduce anxiety, diminish pain, improve blood flow and decrease high blood pressure.
Apart from removing shoes and socks, the recipient remains clothed and lies on a couch or sits on a chair and relaxes. The therapist will discuss any problems you may have and will go through a brief medical history. After cleansing the feet with a mild disinfectant spray, the therapist applies gentle pressure to the soles of the feet concentrating on any areas that have been previously discussed.
Our therapist would provide onsite appointments which would be 30 minute sessions, allow us to complete up to 10 sessions per day.
